Seeking a Music Director
Windsor United Methodist church is seeking a Music Director for our diverse church located in northeast Columbia to arrange all music and arts for two Sunday worship services -- one traditional and one causal/contemporary.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, directing the adult, youth and handbell choirs for the traditional service, and serving as worship leader and producer for the contemporary service. The ideal candidate has experience producing various service types incorporating drama, video, music and dance as appropriate, while collaborating with pastoral staff. In addition, ideal candidate should be proficient on guitar or keyboard and be comfortable singing in both traditional and contemporary styles.

Position requires 20 hours per week and pay is commensurate with experience.

Operation Christmas Child
Shoe boxes are available outside of Harbor Hall and in the walkway outside of the vestibule. Please pick yours up and follow the instructions on the leaflet attached to the box. Return the box to Windsor by Sunday, November 14. Please include a $7 check to help with shipping costs.

Gather Locally…Pray Globally
The International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (IDOP) is a global day of intercession for persecuted Christians worldwide. Persecuted Christians often plead for prayer to help them endure.

For the Advent Season Windsor will order both red and white poinsettias and six door wreaths. They will be hung during the Advent Festival on Dec. 19. Call Kathy Hart for more information.

November's food of the month is SOUP. Please drop your cans or packages into our food containers anytime. Any size contribution is welcome and appreciated.

Just for Women
Our second annual Advent by Candlelight event is scheduled for December 5 at 6:30 p.m. We will begin with an hour of fellowship while eating fabulous homemade desserts. This will be followed by a candlelit Advent worship service led by Windsor’s own women lay speakers.
