November 28, 2010- First Sunday in Advent

8:45- Spirit Song- a contemporary service in the gym- David B. Smith, preaching
8:45 - traditional worship in the sanctuary- David E Nichols, preaching, "Get Ready"
10:55- traditional worship in the sanctuary- David E. Nichols, preaching, "Get Ready"
Each service will feature an Advent Wreath and a familiy lighting it. Chrismon Tree is up in the sanctuary. Wreaths on the doors. We are getting ready.

ELECTRONIC GIVING is now available on our website. On the left of this page just click on Favorite Links, and then click on Give Now, which is a red button. Then, follow the instructions. Those of you who are familiar with using the internet for bill paying, etc, will find the process easy. If you need help, please call us at the church office for assistance.
PLEDGE CARDS will be received on Nov. 21- CONSECRATION SUNDAY. Pledge cards went out in the mail and will be available at church. We need everyone to buy in to this commitment to make 2011's budget work. Our Theme is: BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING!

WEDNESDAY MEALS will go through December 15. The meal is served at 5:30 and all of our choirs rehearse. There are also several small groups meeting on Wednesdays. In the Fellowship Hall, after the meal, we have a short devotion based on next Sundays scripture and then we have community prayer together. A nursery is provided.
