Southeast Anesthesiology Consultants founded Southeast Pain Care in 1997. Southeast Pain Care has grown rapidly, currently operating a network of11 pain management clinics serving more than 40,000 patients each year throughout the region. Our pain management doctors are all board certified or board eligible in pain management and are also fellowship trained in pain management. We work closely with your personal physician to determine a proper pain treatment program.
Southeast Pain Care focuses on two types of pain: new and chronic pain. Acute pain management is designed for active adults who have new pain symptoms and need the help of a specialist. In some cases, pain control is not just a matter of comfort but is also a matter of medical safety that can contribute to the healing process. Chronic pain is a complex condition that refers to pain that has lasted longer than expected for a disease or injury. It is frequently severe enough to limit a persons activity and make it difficult to function at work or at home.
At Southeast Pain Care, we focus on interventional pain procedures and supporting medications to control and relieve the pain of our patients. Many conditions are easily treated at the pain management clinic with conservative therapies, such as medication and nerve blocks. For the most complex cases, our pain management clinics also have the expertise and experience to offer some of the most advanced pain management techniques available.
Southeast Pain Cares pain management doctors offer a multi-disciplinary approach to pain management. We believe that is vital to work closely with you to determine the proper treatment program. Our years of experience help us listen to each patients particular situation and make an individual treatment plan that meets your needs.
