Our employees have chosen careers in long term care because of their love for the elderly. Their jobs are difficult and require physical lifting, holding, turning, dressing, feeding and helping in a thousand ways so that our residents receive the attention they need. We are proud of our employee’s commitment and dedication to our residents and their families.
You are an important part of our healthcare facility as well. As a family member, you are an important source of information that we need to care for your family member. You also act as a report card for us, letting us know how to adjust our services to provide just the right kind of care that your loved one needs. You are welcome in our facilities.
Our family is a lot like most families. We have residents of all ages, some young, some old, all living together under one roof. Some of our family members are recuperating from surgery and receiving intensive rehabilitation services that will allow them to return back home. Some of our family members have chosen to stay in our home indefinitely to receive help in the daily activities of life and to be in an environment where they can share their stories, lives, hopes and dreams with others. Laurel Baye Healthcare facilities seek to balance all of these needs and concerns and to provide an environment where all of our residents, employees and family members are satisfied, happy and cared for deeply.
