South Carolina Safety Company has been selling and servicing portable fire extinguishers and pre-engineered fire suppression systems for Commercial and Residential establishments since 1989. Locally owned, with service in Sumter, Orangeburg and surrounding counties, we employ a staff of trained and certified technicians and operate 5 mobile service vehicles. Our goal is to provide quality service in a timely manner with a friendly smile.

We are a family owned company and strive to provide the best quality service. We have served thousands of satisfied customers over the 21 years we have been in business, such as commercial offices, industrial plants, waste management facilities, health care, restaurants, churchs, schools, apartment complexes, farmers and homeowners.

We also perform service work at our in-house facility. Our mobile vehicles carry a supply of new extinguishers and we also have a catalog of other safety related supplies which, if we do not have available on the service vehicle, we can order to arrive within 3 to 5 business days.

Our company is licensed by the State of South Carolina and our service technicians are certified by the State for Portable Extinguisher & System Work, Department of Transportation (D.O.T.), Mine Safety Health Association (MSHA), Manufacturer Trained for System Installation & Service, and Trained in Emergency & Exit Lighting.

Our company is a member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), National Association of Fire Equipment Distributors (NAFED), and local Chambers of Commerce.
