Cathy E Battle, M.Ed., Ed.S, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, an Advanced Imago Relationship Clinician, an Imago Couples Workshop Presenter, and trained in EMDR Level II. Cathy has specialized training working with couples, relationships, and individuals. She operates a private counseling practice focusing on Imago Relationship Therapy with couples, and adult individual counseling. Imago Relationship Therapy is based on the national best selling book, Getting the Love You Want by Harville Hendrix, Ph.D. EMDR is an innovative method of psychotherapy used to treat the emotional distress arising from PTSD, both major and minor traumas.

Each person comes to therapy with unique concerns. I can assure you that I will render my services in a professional, ethical manner with kindness, honesty, humor, and non-judgmental consideration. It is my goal to make your counseling experience a safe, challenging, personal growth experience.

Cathy Battle is available for speaking engagements. She has presented information on the Imago Theory of Relationships, and other counseling topics at "Getting the Love You Want" Couples Workshops, as well as, at civic, religious and educational organizations. Cathy has presented at the Coastal Carolina University Celebration of Enquiry Conference, and appeared on locally televised shows, Southern Style with Diane DeVaughn Stokes, and The Right Side with Armstrong Lewis. Cathy wrote a monthly article for the locally published Parent Magazine.
