Intellistrand, LLC, is a leading developer of geographic-specific travel portal Internet websites. Our focus is to acquire, host and develop intuitive domain names for the tourism market throughout the United States, a particular line of business the company has been involved with since 1994.
In addition, we also provide Internet marketing services, web development, and e-commerce applications for the tourism, hospitality, and real estate industries, including our flagship online booking technology, GuestDesk, a product that facilitates the online booking of hotel rooms, tee-times, tours/attractions and the dynamic packaging thereof. In 2008, we facilitated over $80 million in transactions through our infrastructure.
Through a strategic partnership with Horry Telephone Cooperative (HTC), the largest telephone cooperative in the continental U.S, Intellistrand also provides the opportunity for local, regional, and national companies to advertise on the HTC Cable System to over 45,000 subscribers in Horry County, the fastest growing DMA in our state.
