Sam B. Parimi, MD Board Certified, American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Parimi has been practicing in the Upstate of Greenville since January of 1995. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehab at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. His focus is on inpatient and subacute rehabilitation. He has been the Medical Director of St. Francis Inpatient Rehabilitation since 1995. Dr. Parimi is also the Rehab Director for the following subacute facilities: NHC of Greenville and NHC of Mauldin. He is also the Medical Director of Riverside Living Center and Westside Living Center.
Our focus is on maximizing your functional abilities therein improving your quality of life. We do not operate. We may prescribe medications, do muscle or joint injections to help reduce your pain, inflammation or swelling or spasms. We may also order therapy to help improve your strength, mobility, endurance, coordination and balance. We will follow your progress in therapy and work together as a team with you and your therapist to improve your function. We evaluate and prescribe walkers, wheelchairs, canes, braces and other equipment to assist/improve your function.
We emphasize both medical and natural treatments for healing. EMG/Nerve Conduction studies are available to evaluate complaints of numbness, tingling, burning pains, pinched nerves, carpal tunnel syndrome and neuropathy. We treat many acute and chronic musculoskeletal problems such as back, shoulder, and neck pain. We also treat sports injuries.
