Last night I had this urge to bake like a mad scientist.Unfortunately, I did not have eggs. That did not stop me! I quickly became resourceful and looked into recipes that did not require eggs. I came across this recipe named “Banana Sunflower Seed Vegan Cookies.” Vegans dont eat meat or other animal products such as eggs and dairy. My means of baking was notnecessarilytargeted to execute vegan cookies, but was to experiment with the idea. It wasjust to get something into the oven andediblewhen it came out =) And this I did. I substituted the sunflower seeds for dark chocolate chips, which do contain less milk than semi-sweet milk chocolate. See, I told you I did my research. When I opened the oven door, it smelt delectable! My boyfriendimmediatelybegan to ask for his own cookie to try. That is when, the idea of him taking them to his work and spreading the word of this creation I made came to me. Then it got better, I was to take some samples back to my moms’ workand remind them of the service I provide and introduce myself. The cookies were a HIT! I simply thanked them all for their time, and excused myself. I exited the door with thought left behind, that I would be back next Friday with more samples and business cards.

Good afternoon everyone!
So last week for Halloween, I put myself back into the baking industry. My Halloween themed cupcakes went very well at my moms’ work. Everything was made from scratch, as I put all my effort and imagination into the project. Due to being away from the field for sometime, I stayed up to the wee hours of the night to finish and perfect this recipe. In the end, I received good reviews and encouragement to continue with my passion.
