Sharon Fincke and Joan Geanuracos are graduates of the Florida School of Massage and Natural Healing. Having had independent practices for massage therapy, Joan and Sharon decided in 1991 to combine their efforts and established MT Stress, the first clinic opened in Charleston devoted solely to the practice of therapeutic massage.
In 1994 Sharon and Joan expanded their practice to include Colonics, and with that expansion, changed their name to A CENTER FOR WELL-BEING. In 2000 A Center for Well-Being added another therapy to their practice toward their goal of promoting and improved quality of life called Touch for Health. Sharon is a certified instructor for this practice of applied Kinesiology. Providing CEU's for other Massage Therapists while also teaching laypersons to help their loved ones.
In 2002 Joan and Sharon began another journey into healing in their study of Bioenergetic Medicine or Bioresonance Technology in the form of the LIFE.
A Center for Well-Being maintains their practice of Massage Therapy offering licensed Massage Therapists and combining various therapies during a session to meet their clients' needs. At A Center for Well Being we understand there are many ways of helping the body and spirit find its balance and therefore provide a variety of services to help you on your path.

Sharon Fincke has been practicing massage since 1987 and has developed a very unique style of therapeutic massage. She blends her knowledge of Eastern Philosophies of Shiatsu and Thai massage with her non-traditional styles of Cranio-sacral and Myofacial unwinding. Sharon is a Nationally Certified Colonic Therapist and a Certified Touch for Health instructor and offers a 14 muscle balancing session. Using her degree from The Culinary Institute of America in New York, she blends her traditional training with food and her interest in health to create healthy and delicious vegetarian food of the highest quality. She is available for catering and offers A Peace of Heaven package through A Center for Well-Being, combining dinner and massage in your home. Call for details.
Joan Geanuracos practiced massage in Connecticut and South Carolina since 1989. Her eclectic style of massage incorporates relaxation techniques with energetic modalities and deep muscle therapy. Her intention is to meet the needs of her clients in a relaxed and caring way in order to help facilitate their freedom from tension and stress. Joan is also a Nationally Certified Colonic Therapist and LIFE practitioner, and a certified level-two intructor of Qigong. Joan has been instrumental in the movement of massage in South Carolina law and two schools.
