Honduras Team Rummage Sale

The Honduras Mission Team is planning a Fall Rummage Sale for November 4,5 and 6 so clean out those closets and donate to the Rummage Sale! Please call Derinda at 992-1179 for pick up or drop off information.
The Honduras team now has a store open at 2704 West Palmetto Street in the old Carquest Building. Drop offs can be made Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday mornings from 9-12 noon and on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-9 PM. Pickups of larger items can be arranged by calling Derinda Connor at 992-1179. Your donated items are needed to make the sale a success. Volunteers are needed to help sort and price for the Rummage Sale, so come out and help us during any of the times the store is open.

Ladies Holiday Dinner – November 11th, 2010

The Ladies Holiday Dinner is scheduled for Thursday, November 11, 2010. Our speaker this year is Maria Owens of Columbia, and our dinner will again be catered by The Catering Connection. Tickets will go on sale after the 8:30 service on Sunday, October 17.
Men: We need you to serve! Contact Keith Pettigrew to confirm!

We will hold the Operation Christmas Child Ingathering Service on Sunday November 14th, 2010 at 6:00pm. See Jennifer Dunnam for details.

Blood Drive – Monday November 8th

The American Red Cross will be holding a Blood Drive in the Fellowship Hall at 2:00pm on Monday November, 8th 2010. Please see Pam if you wish to donate.

If you would like to be a part of this ministry, there are prisoner packets in the hall outside the Library with a list of items to be placed in the gallon zip-lock bag and returned to the church no later than November 28.

Dont Throw Away Those Bags!
The House of Hope of the Pee Dee is in desperate need for grocery bags (plastic and paper) for use in their Mission Mart store. They go through quite a few of these every day, and they need your help. All you have to do is collect your bags and put them in the blue donation building in the church parking lot. Thats it! Simple as pie! The House of Hope of the Pee Dee is a non-profit organization for homeless men, women and children. All proceeds from the Mission Mart go right back into the ministry to help the homeless of the Pee Dee community. As a non-profit the more we can streamline our expenses, the better. This is a small thing that helps in a BIG way. Thank you for your support.
