Homeowners who purchase and install a qualifying gas tankless water heater between Jan. 1, 2009 and Dec. 31, 2010 are eligible for a tax credit equal to 30% of the full purchase and installation price up to a maximum of $1500 -- American Recover and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
South Carolina Electric & Gas (SCE&G) is offering a $200 credit to any customer who switches from an electric water heater to a gas tankless water heater.
