Salem Environmental was founded in 1989 to provide underground storage tank (UST) management services to petroleum marketers in North Carolina. Since that time, Salem has provided environmental services on nearly 5,000 locations in the Carolinas, Tennessee, Georgia, Virginia, and West Virginia. Our clientele has grown to include residential and commercial Realtors, as well as commercial, governmental, financial, and industrial clients. Our scope of services has expanded to provide project management for Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments and soil/groundwater remediation projects. Salem has been a licensee of the Perma-Fill inert foam closure process for UST's since 1989 and has abandoned in-place approximately 3,500 residential and commercial tanks.
Our scope of services was again expanded in 2001 to include mold testing and remedial services. In the last three years, Salem has worked on over 500 residential, multi-family and commercial sites. Salem has the resources to handle your mold and moisture intrusion problem from discovery to completion. This includes in-house infrared camera imaging to detect water leakage.
Salem is also the exclusive distributor for CleanSealEP, a revolutionary, totally "green" mold-retardant polymer, for the Charlotte Metro, Triad, Unifour and N. C. High country areas. Unlike other products, it leaves no sheen or residues, and can be safely applied to indoor walls and ceilings.
