We take quality seriously, maintaining membership in the American Medical Association and the South Carolina Surgical Society. The founder of the practice, Dr. C. Edward Floyd, is on the faculty at the USC Medical School and the MUSC Medical School.

At Floyd Medical Associates our team of board-certified Physicians and experienced staff have been providing high-quality surgical care to the Florence community since 1965. We are the only independent surgical group in the area and maintain relationships with both local hospitals. So when you require general, laparoscopic or vascular surgery, we are here to provide care, quality and expertise.
