About Carefree Exteriors Inc.

Our company was founded in January of 1992 by Ron Huffman. Ron has been in the building business his entire life and worked 30 years in Wilkesboro, North Carolina before moving to Longs, South Carolina. Ron and his significant other, Betty Stahler grew the company until more staff was needed. At that point, Son Matthew (Matt) Huffman, daughter Robin Schmaltz, and son-in-law Joel Schmaltz joined the company. Robin and Joel's two daughters Brianna (9) and Haley (7) sometimes answer the phones.
Our company installs carefree, quality vinyl fencing, railing, windows, doors, siding, garage doorsand does custom work. We have a stocking warehouse in Longs where we have advanced machinery for fabricating the fencing and railcomponents. We can install fencing around yourpool or around your 20 acres.
