Historical Charleston is located on a peninsula of land between the Ashley and Cooper Rivers. This beautiful drive through undeveloped land over tidal creeks and marshes-- perfect for spotting egrets, herons, ibises and osprey. Sullivan's Island is older, established residential and vacation community.
