Karate is a lifetime physical activity. Each belt level requires new skills and techniques which challenge the student regardless of age, fitness level, or previous skill level. Students are active for the entire class in contrast to many team sports where those of lesser skill sit on the sidelines.

Competitions are available for students that wish to participate. Students from Carolina Karate participate in local, state, and National Championships each year. This is a fun way for students to compare skills and challenge themselves.

Students learn to follow directions in a class setting while developing physical and karate skills. Good behavior is encourage both inside and outside the dojo. Each student progresses at their own pace.
