We also understand that dental care can come with elevated cost, and that’s why we are committed to providing you with quality care you can count on for a lifetime of health. We offer no interest plans for up to a year, and other options for qualified patients, and as a courtesy we file all insurance claims for you.
SEDATION MAKES IT EASY
At AFDP having a great smile is now possible for those fearful or apprehensive of the dentist, those who may have let things go for 10, 20 or even 30 years or even people who’s busy schedule requires getting as much done at one time as possible. With oral conscious sedation no needles are used to start IV’s (we use a pill and sometimes nitrous gas which some call laughing gas), and a degree of comfort you have never dreamed of is possible.
People who can benefit are those who may have had traumatic dental experiences, high fear or anxiety, have bad gag reflexes, very sensitive teeth, and difficulty getting numb or may be embarrassed about their teeth. IMPLANTS FOR DENTURES OR TO REPLACE TEETH
Implants have been a part of our practice since 1992 and Dr Ziegenhorn has been placing them since 1989 when he did his General Practice Residency at the Veterans Hospital in Charleston, SC. We use implants for many for many different purposes including replacing single teeth, multiple teeth or to stabilize and support dentures. We perform the surgery needed here at our facility, often using conscious sedation, and then place the teeth on the implants so that very few referrals are necessary to complete the case from start to finish.
