In 1990 Mike Bartley and Hugh Moseley had a vision to give Greenwood something unique with its own identity in the food and beverage industry. After partnering with Kevin Prater, the trio indeed gave Greenwood and the Lakeland's that unique place called Sports Break.

Sports Break proudly pours premium bar brands while customers enjoy an atmosphere and a quality of service second to none. With a sports bar theme and a laid-back personality, all ages feel welcome to relax and enjoy the games and good times.

In 1995, Sports Break became a private club and today has well over 10,000 satisfied members. Patrons can enjoy a satisfying variety of food and beverage seven days a week from 11 am till 2 am. For the everyday customer, Sports Break offers a home-style meat and vegetable lunch with a choice of seven meats and seventeen sides every Monday thru Friday 11 am till 2 pm.

Our famous daily menu consists of a variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches and entrees (after 5pm) with nightly specials. It is available till 10pm and on Friday and Saturday till 11pm. Our famous Wings, Chicken Tenders, and Burgers always aim to please any hunger.

Our unique horseshoe bar offers a wide range of Libations to quench any thirst. We provide wonderful Happy Hour pricing Monday thru Friday 4pm- 7pm. Recently SC has changed from mini bottle to free pour, allowing us to offer you a variety of new multi-drink concoctions that were impossible with mini-bottles.

You can also enjoy your favorite sporting events on 3 big screens TVs and 15 other TVs, all with HD DIRECTTV viewing. NFL Sunday Ticket and all other sporting events are broadcast throughout the building. There are some games that have Black out rules that apply with certain events.

If your game is Billiards, we offer 6 Olhausen 8 foot pro tables covered with the finest simonies cloth for your enjoyment. Many popular video games are also available to pass the time. The Bull Pen Deck has outdoor enjoyment during the summer months with a fully stocked bar, TVs, music, dining and occasional live acoustic entertainment.

For those customers that enjoy live entertainment, Sports Break provides great music from local and out of town bands every weekend. We always have quality musicians and have had the likes of Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland, Angie Apparo and many other talented musicians rock the stage. A House DJ plays your favorite hits between sets.
